EMERALD BAY -  521 Home sites, 14 of which are beachfront. An exclusive private gated community in North Laguna Beach. It dates back to 1929 and given its name for the beautiful green hue of the ocean. There are two areas of Emerald Bay-- North of Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and South of (PCH), which happens to be the ocean side. Both areas offer some of the most impressive frontal ocean and sweeping coastal views. Some homes are on the beachfront and others are perched along the hillside. For convenient and safe access to the beach from the North side of PCH, there is tunnel under PCH. Amenities for residents include private tennis courts, parks, and swimming pool. The beach has volleyball courts and the quaint bay of Emerald Bay is where many boaters come to anchor. Emerald Bay has its own Fire Station. It isn’t at all unusual to see residents driving around the area in golf carts.  This is one of the most prestigious private communities in Laguna Beach.
